Parents play a vital role in publicly funded education. Ontario's Parents Reaching Out grants are designed to encourage parents' involvement in their children's education and to support student learning at the school, regional and provincial levels.

 

Single Parent Bursary

The First Nations Centre, National Aboriginal  Health Organization is pleased to announce the launch of a First Nations Single Parent Health Careers Bursary.  This program will give out a minimum of five $1,000 cash bursaries to First Nation students currently enrolled and attending health related post-secondary programs during the 2009-2010 school year, who are single parents and in need of financial support.
